In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality and service. Your leadership will inspire a team of talented cooks, uphold food safety standards, and maintain efficient kitchen workflows. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, possesses strong supervisory skills, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff during service hours, ensuring smooth and efficient operations Prepare and cook high-quality dishes with precision, consistency, and creativity in line with menu standards Oversee food production, including banquet and catering events, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Enforce strict food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing Supervise shift management activities such as staffing schedules, training new team members, and maintaining high team morale Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure dietary needs are met and special requests are accommodated Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues promptly to prevent disruptions Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably with fine dining exposure Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience managing kitchen teams effectively Strong background in food safety practices and sanitation standards Familiarity with banquet service, catering operations, and large-scale food production is highly desirable Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and food handling procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Experience with menu planning, shift management, and restaurant operations is preferred A passion for culinary excellence combined with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Join us as a Lead Line Cook and or Sous Chef where your culinary talents will shine!
