Job Overview Ebenezer is looking for a Cook/Chef to join our team at Martin Luther Care Center. This position is responsible for preparing and cooking meals as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established culinary standard s of high quality care. Culinary position will p lat e food for optimal eye ap peal to entice food consumption by our residents in our Senior Living Community located in Bloomington, MN. This full-time culinary services position includes; 80 hours per two weeks Day/evening shift Every other weekend Martin Luther Care Center , part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus is located in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Managed by Ebenezer, we offer 137 units between our Skilled Nursing, Memory Care and Transitional Care. We have an outstanding team of tenured staff. The only thing missing is YOU! Properly cook foods to specified temperatures. Products meet temperature and quality standards. Follow standardized recipes and products to ensure products are consistent in quality and nutritional value. Weigh and measure ingredients per standardized recipes Use correct portioning utensils. Assemble food within specified time frames. Production is and meal service is provided in a timely manner. Prepare bakery items per standardized recipes. Accurately complete tasks listed on daily preparation sheets. Assist with the special events. Required Qualifications One to Three Years Must be 18+ years old Food Handlers certification Issued by an
