Job Summary A private household is seeking an experienced Private Chef for a long-term position. This role is ideal for someone who has significant experience working within private homes and understands the discretion, flexibility, and high level of service required in a private household environment. Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant Private Chef experience , with a strong background in fresh, health-conscious cooking and the ability to accommodate changing dietary preferences and nutritional needs. Responsibilities include daily meal preparation, menu planning, grocery shopping and ingredient sourcing, kitchen organization, and maintaining appropriate food and pantry inventory. The Chef will be expected to keep the kitchen well stocked and organized while proactively anticipating the household's needs. Flexibility and adaptability are the #1 priorities for this position. This is not a traditional Monday-Friday, 9-5 role. The right person should genuinely love to travel, enjoy spontaneity, and thrive in an environment where plans can change quickly. Travel may be frequent and sometimes come together on short notice, so this role is best suited for someone who finds that type of lifestyle exciting rather than disruptive. Hours and days will vary based on the household's schedule, with quieter periods and scheduled time off throughout the year. The ideal candidate is discreet, adaptable, organized, proactive, and comfortable working closely within a private household. They should have a naturally positive, solutions-oriented attitude and be able to pivot easily as schedules, locations, and needs change. The ability to anticipate needs without constant direction while maintaining excellent professional boundaries and confidentiality is essential.

Requirements:

5+ years of Private Chef/private household experience; strong knowledge of health-focused cooking; excellent kitchen and inventory management; a genuine love of travel and spontaneity ; flexibility with changing schedules and nontraditional hours; and a high level of discretion and professionalism. Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
