Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sous Chef/Lead Sauté to join our dynamic culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the sauté station with precision and passion, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dishes that delight our guests. Responsibilities Lead and oversee the sauté station, ensuring all food preparation meets quality standards and presentation expectations Supervise kitchen staff, providing mentorship and guidance to foster teamwork and skill development Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs Ensure strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures and hygiene regulations across all kitchen areas Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning, special event catering, and daily specials to enhance guest experience Monitor food production processes, ensuring timely service without compromising quality or safety Assist in training staff on food handling, cooking techniques, and restaurant management protocols Maintain a clean, organized workspace that complies with health department standards and safety regulations Experience Proven supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant or fine dining establishment Extensive culinary experience with a focus on sauté techniques and food preparation in the food industry Demonstrated knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitizing practices, and kitchen management principles Experience with banquet service, catering events, and dietary department requirements is highly desirable Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively during shifts and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously Background in restaurant management or food service management preferred Familiarity with inventory management systems, cost control strategies, and menu planning processes Prior experience working in hospitality environments that emphasize exceptional service delivery Join us as a key player in delivering memorable dining experiences!
