Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Wok Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Asian dishes with a focus on wok cooking techniques. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes using wok techniques, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate Follow established recipes and menu guidelines to maintain authentic flavors and presentation standards Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as woks, burners, knives, and other culinary tools safely and efficiently Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and refining existing recipes to enhance customer satisfaction Ensure all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are strictly followed according to food safety regulations Participate in high-volume food production during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation, plating, and timely service for large parties or catering events Skills Proven experience working as a Wok Chef or in similar culinary roles within fine dining or high-volume kitchens Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques including poaching, braising, grilling, and sautéing Excellent knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food production standards Background in dietary aide work or dietary department experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality food presentation and taste standards Join our vibrant team where your culinary talents will shine!
