Job Overview:
We are a restaurant group and are seeking a highly creative and visionary Executive Chef to lead one of restaurant's culinary team and redefine Indian fine dining through a modern, progressive, and innovation-driven approach. In this key leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, team leadership, and quality control. You will be responsible for crafting dishes that balance authenticity with contemporary technique, delivering an exceptional and memorable guest experience at the highest standard. This role offers the opportunity to push culinary boundaries while building a refined, ambitious, and excellence-focused kitchen culture. Responsibilities Lead the planning, development, and execution of innovative menus that reimagine Indian cuisine with a modern, progressive perspective while honoring authentic flavors and techniques. Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth shift management and efficient workflow across all culinary departments. Oversee food production processes, maintaining exceptional standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control in compliance with health regulations. Manage inventory control and procurement to optimize food costs while sourcing high-quality, seasonal ingredients that support a refined dining experience. Mentor, train, and inspire kitchen staff, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous growth. Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision, delivering elevated presentations and immersive culinary experiences. Implement innovative plating, presentation, and preparation techniques that align with contemporary fine dining standards. Requirements Proven experience in a leadership role within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment, with strong preference for fine dining and/or modern Indian cuisine experience. Extensive culinary expertise with a deep understanding of Indian flavors, spices, and techniques, combined with a progressive, experimental mindset. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing diverse teams in high-pressure environments. Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, dietary standards, and inventory management systems. Background in menu innovation, catering operations, and restaurant management is highly desirable. Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage operations efficiently. Strong communication skills and a passion for redefining guest experiences through elevated, contemporary Indian cuisine.
