We focus on high-quality ingredients, customized menus, and giving time back to our clients. We are seeking a passionate, organized, and skilled chef to help us grow and delight our clients. After the initial training process, you will take ownership of the meal prep service for a family with opportunities to take on more clients as you grow with us. You will handle the entire process from shopping to storing or serving food. This role offers independence, daytime hours, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on families' health and well-being. Responsibilities Organized planning and prep : Review planned menus and clients dietary needs and any allergies. Efficient grocery shopping : select the highest quality ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality based on the weekly menu selected. In-home cooking : Arrive at client homes, efficiently prepare 3-4 days' worth of meals, and cook dishes according to recipes and standards. Oversee kitchen operations, including food handling, safety protocols, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations.

Packaging and Storing:

Package, label, and store all food properly, leaving simple reheating instructions for the family.

Plan catering events or special occasions by coordinating menu options, staffing needs, and timing to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Sanitation :

Leave the client's kitchen spotless, sanitizing workstations, utensils, and cookware.

Maintain comprehensive records of food safety compliance, inventory levels, and menu planning to support continuous improvement.

Client Management:

Build a positive, professional relationship with families, acting as the primary point of contact during prep days

Skills Culinary Experience:

Minimum 2+ years of professional cooking experience (restaurant, catering, or personal chef assistant).

Education:

Culinary degree preferred, but not required if experience is equivalent.

Food Safety:

ServSafe Certification required.

Independence:

Proven ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently without direct supervision.

Reliability:

Extremely organized with high attention to detail.

Logistics:

Reliable transportation for grocery shopping and traveling to client sites . Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods. Comfortable working in residential kitchens.
