HYBRID CHEF/SALES POSITION

available for a well-established company in Wilmington, NC. This position will be responsible for meeting with existing clients and cultivating new clients primarily by promoting the product and cooking recipes that show how the product can be enhanced for new menu selections. We are looking for a Chef who has decided he/she needs a change from the traditional kitchen cooking position. We need a self-starter who is highly motivated and has a flare for selling what they love. Will prepare and present creative samples of how products can work together. May plan and execute events in both a retail and restaurant environment. Candidate will work with team members to look at marketing opportunities as well as understanding customer issues and ideas. Candidate will be responsible for sales and volume growth, track key indicators to evaluate strategies and be visible to establish effective networks. The preferred candidate will have minimum of seven years experience in the food industry with a back ground in food preparation and event coordination. Culinary degree not required but would be a plus. Must be creative, feel comfortable in a sales role and be an effective communicator. $25.74 - $31.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
