Responsibilities Support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure efficient teamwork and high-quality output. Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures and ensure compliance with all health regulations. Assist with menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management to control costs and minimize waste. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional dishes that meet client specifications. Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain smooth kitchen workflow during busy periods. Monitor food handling practices and ensure adherence to food industry standards for quality and safety. Qualifications Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills and a passion for excellence. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in high-volume settings. Extensive banquet, catering, and food production experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory control, and cost management techniques. Skilled in menu planning, food service management, and kitchen management operations. Familiarity with dietary department requirements and special dietary accommodations. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate team members and ensure seamless service delivery. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
