Starting Pay:
$17.00 + depending on experience Hillcrest Health & Living is currently seeking a Chef to join our culinary team at Hillcrest Mable Rose in Bellevue, NE. At Hillcrest Mable Rose, our culinary team plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience for residents every day. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys cooking, takes pride in quality food service, and wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of aging adults. What You'll Get to Do Prepare and serve nutritious, flavorful, and visually appealing meals Cook meals according to quality, quantity, and consistency standards Complete prep work for upcoming meals and shifts Serve food in a timely and professional manner Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment Follow food safety, sanitation, and state regulatory standards Assist with putting away grocery deliveries using proper dating and FIFO practices Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment as needed Support the culinary team with additional kitchen duties as assigned What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferred At least two years of hotel or restaurant line cooking experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to stay calm, flexible, and professional in stressful situations Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive sitting, bending, and standing movements Ability to speak, read, and write English Comfort using technology and resources efficiently STAR mentality: Selfless, Tough, Accountable, Respectful Why Hillcrest?
