Searching for an experienced catering chef to join our award winning team. We service off-premise events ranging from continental and hot breakfasts, deli and hot luncheons to cocktail receptions, buffet dinners, BBQs , galas and weddings. Day-to-day duties include supervising 1-2 catering prep cooks participating (hands on) with all prep ordering from multiple vendors maintaining a safe, hygienic and sanitary work environment managing all catering related inventory preparing all items in a timely manner according to event specs, A flexible work schedule includes some weekends, a few non-major holidays, some early morning and some early evening hours (this is all dictated by the events booked and the prep/event execution schedules). Current schedule is 45 hours per week. During peak season, some weeks will be 50 hours. We strive to schedule for 5 day work weeks to ensure work/life balance! Serve Safe Certification is required as well as at least years in a supervisory or leadership position in a catering or banquet kitchen with proven success and excellent, verifiable reference
