Responsibilities Lead and supervise the banquet kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service for all events. Plan menus tailored to event requirements, dietary restrictions, and client preferences, incorporating innovative culinary techniques. Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures, proper handling, and storage of ingredients to maintain health standards. Manage inventory control and food production supplies to optimize costs while ensuring quality ingredients are available. Coordinate with catering staff and event coordinators to execute seamless service from setup through cleanup. Monitor kitchen operations during shifts, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Train team members on food handling, cooking techniques, and safety protocols to foster a skilled and compliant workforce. Requirements Proven banquet experience with a strong background in large-scale food production and catering services. Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen or hospitality environment. Extensive knowledge of dietary department procedures, food safety sanitizing procedures, and kitchen management best practices. Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and cost control strategies. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of hospitality and service excellence. Fine dining experience or restaurant management background preferred for delivering upscale culinary experiences.
