Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, including sushi, grilled items, braised specialties, and poached delicacies. Follow established recipes meticulously to ensure consistency and quality across all menu items. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, grills, braising pots, and other culinary tools. Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment. Assist in menu planning and food presentation to enhance guest experience and uphold restaurant standards. Support high-volume food production during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail and quality control. Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation, manage time effectively, and deliver excellent service. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering environment; fine dining experience is a plus. Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures required for maintaining health standards. Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and high-volume production processes. Familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Previous experience working as a line cook or sushi chef preferred; culinary training or certifications are advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
