Job DescriptionReports ToThe Executive Chef will report to the Executive Director. The Culinary Services Director is an exempt, salaried position.
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $75,000 YearlyJob OverviewResponsible for the successful day-to-day operations of the culinary services department. Ensure resident satisfaction by delivering a variety of food options that are nutritious and well plated.

Responsibilities and DutiesPlanning, organizing, delegating, and directing all aspect of the culinary services departmentOversee the production of all meals while maintaining high quality, excellent service practices, and superior customer serviceHiring, training, and mentoring all culinary services department associatesEnsure all HACCP protocols are adhered to and document to ensure safe food handlingResponsible for adhering to budgetsOccasional weekend coverage as Manager on Duty QualificationsQualificationsBachelor's degree required, preferably in culinary arts, hospitality, nutrition, or businessMinimum of two (2) years culinary services administration experience, preferably in senior livingServSafe certification requiredMust have training and experience in cost control, food management, and diet therapyProficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applicationsPhysical AbilitiesWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.

An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. The associate must use proper body mechanics. Additional InformationBenefits Offered(Full Time):
