In this pivotal role, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Your energetic leadership will inspire your team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while managing kitchen workflows efficiently and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities In this role, you will oversee the preparation and execution of high-quality banquets, ensuring exceptional presentation, taste, and consistency You will play a key part in leading a kitchen in a high volume multi room facility maintaining a smooth and efficient operation, and ensuring an outstanding culinary experience for our guests Lead, manage, and inspire a team of kitchen staff, ensuring all culinary tasks are executed to the highest standards Coordinate and execute banquet menus for large-scale events, working closely with the Executive Chef to align the team on the goals of the department Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food for banquets, ensuring dishes are completed on time and meet quality standards Maintain inventory control, communicating purchasing needs, and managing kitchen equipment to ensure seamless operations Expedite tastings for booked and prospective clients as needed Maintain an effective working relationship with food and beverage management, sales department, and Staff Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring the kitchen adheres to proper sanitation and food safety standards Assist with training and mentoring kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment Troubleshoot any kitchen issues, ensuring prompt and effective solutions to keep operations on track Communicate effectively with front of house captains and Maitre' D on event details, timing and execution Additional duties may be assigned by the Chief Operating Officer as business dictates
Schedule:
Nights and weekends as business dictates Flexibility is key to accommodate event schedules
