Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and food service teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are consistently met or exceeded Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize costs Develop and plan menus that reflect current culinary trends while adhering to dietary restrictions and guest preferences Implement food safety sanitizing procedures in compliance with health regulations to maintain a safe kitchen environment Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service Monitor shift operations, manage staffing schedules, and ensure timely service during peak hours Skills Extensive banquet experience with a proven track record of managing large-scale events Supervising experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting Strong background in dietary department operations and food management within fine dining contexts Expertise in food production, culinary techniques, and food handling safety standards Demonstrated leadership in team management, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluation Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and kitchen logistics Hands-on experience with food service management, catering coordination, and menu planning Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and kitchen hygiene practices Skilled in cooking techniques across various cuisines with an emphasis on quality presentation Experience managing restaurant operations with a focus on hospitality excellence Ability to oversee shift management efficiently while maintaining high standards of food service Strong understanding of the food industry trends, culinary innovation, and customer satisfaction strategies This role is ideal for a passionate culinary professional eager to lead a vibrant team while delivering memorable dining experiences.
