Maspeth, Queens Pay:
$20-$25/hour, based on experience

40 hours per week
Schedule:
Flexible, primarily daytime hours We are a growing catering and meal-prep company in Maspeth, Queens looking for an experienced and reliable Cook / Meal Prep Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a production-focused kitchen position — no restaurant service or late-night shifts. The role primarily involves preparing meals in larger batches for our catering clients, along with preparing and baking simple snacks. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals in bulk according to our menus and recipes Prep ingredients, including cutting, seasoning, cooking, and portioning Prepare and bake items such as muffins, cornbread, banana bread, pancakes, waffles, and similar snacks Help portion and package completed meals Maintain a clean and organized kitchen Follow food safety and sanitation standards Help keep daily production organized and on schedule What We're Looking For Professional cooking or kitchen experience Catering, meal-prep, institutional, or high-volume cooking experience is a plus Comfortable with basic baking Able to follow recipes and produce consistent results Reliable, organized, and able to work efficiently Comfortable working independently as well as with a small team NYC Food Protection Certificate is a plus
Compensation:
