Duties Lead and supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to dietary needs and preferences. Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize costs. Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision and professionalism. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster a motivated team. Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy hours while maintaining high standards of service. Collaborate with the hospitality team to deliver outstanding food service experiences for guests. Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory levels, and safety inspections. Participate in menu planning, costing, and sourcing ingredients from trusted suppliers. Experience Proven experience in a culinary leadership role within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. Extensive banquet experience with the ability to coordinate large-scale food production for events. Supervising experience managing kitchen teams in a high-volume setting. Strong background in fine dining cuisine with an emphasis on presentation and flavor balance. Knowledge of dietary requirements including allergy management and special diets. Familiarity with inventory management systems and food safety standards such as HACCP. Demonstrated ability to lead by example through excellent cooking skills, team management, and operational oversight.
