Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional catering services for a variety of events. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, oversee food production, and manage all aspects of kitchen operations within a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Catering Chef will be responsible for menu planning, supervising food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service that delights our clients. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the catering kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations and high standards of food quality and presentation Plan and develop diverse menus tailored to client specifications, dietary requirements, and event themes Oversee food production processes, including preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize costs Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all catering activities Coordinate with event planners and clients to understand their needs and deliver customized culinary solutions Supervise shift management, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor team performance to foster a motivated work environment Qualifications Proven experience in banquet catering, fine dining, or large-scale food service environments with a strong background in food production and kitchen management Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in managing culinary teams Extensive knowledge of dietary restrictions, food safety protocols, and inventory management practices Skilled in menu planning, food handling, cooking techniques, and restaurant or catering operations Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple events simultaneously Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant management is highly desirable Join us as a Catering Chef and bring your culinary talents to life by creating extraordinary dining experiences that leave lasting impressions.
