OVERVIEW

As a prep chef for the Saratoga Arms Hotel, you'll create a memorable vacation experience for guests visiting Saratoga Springs. Your goal will be to support our chefs with daily food prep for our breakfast restaurant, events/groups and evening porch plates menu. Your success will help the Saratoga Arms Hotel position itself as the premiere luxury hotel in Saratoga Springs.

REQUIREMENTS

Please keep the following in mind as you submit your application: o

Experience:

looking for a self-starter with a can-do attitude that stays calm under pressure. Prior experience working in a high-end kitchen is preferred. o

Education :

a culinary education is preferred, but certainly not required. o

Skills :

food prep, dishwashing. o

Characteristics:

must be self-sufficient and self-motivated without direct supervision.

RESPONSIBILITES

As our prep chef, you'll support the executive chef with breakfast prep and preparing small plates for our evening cocktail service. In addition to food prep, you also be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, following all food safety standards and working closely with our front of the house staff.
