Kampai Japanese Steakhouse is seeking an Experienced Chef for our Sushi Bar. Must have at lease 1 year cooking experience, will train on sushi. Full-time or part-time position available. Dinner service only. The ideal chef is a motivated individual with a passion for food quality, along with enthusiasm for direct contact with guests and excellent customer service. • Passionate about customer service. The ideal candidate is friendly and outgoing, as they will be in direct contact with guests and entertain them as they prepare their food.
• 1+ year of cooking experience
• Experience working in a fast paced & high energy atmosphere
• Able to prepare and cook menu items to our high standard. Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
• Excellent knife skills
• Clean and maintain stations in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills
• Must work well in a team environment and demonstrate strong communication. Collaborating with other kitchens and waitstaff is critical to success in this position.
• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine is a bonus Benefits Chef compensation is competitive and based on experience.

Full-time and part-time available. Pay dependent on experience. Chefs also receive tips.
