Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes with precision, consistency, and artistic flair Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in all aspects of food handling and preparation Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative sushi options that align with current culinary trends Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and rotated according to safety guidelines Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver seamless food service during busy hours Support catering events by preparing sushi platters and specialty items as needed Uphold cleanliness standards in the sushi station, including equipment maintenance and waste management Qualifications Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting, especially with sushi or Asian cuisine preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques specific to sushi making Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and fine dining presentation styles Background in culinary arts or related training is highly desirable Excellent food service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards Join us as a Part-Time Sushi Chef and bring your culinary passion to life!
