Chef - UPMC Cole (32 Hours/Week) Cook with Purpose at UPMC Cole! UPMC Cole is seeking an experienced Chef to join our Food Services team. In this role, you'll help prepare and coordinate high-quality meals for patients, visitors, staff, and catered events while ensuring exceptional food quality and service. Schedule 32 hours per week 5:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Every other weekend required Some holidays required What You'll Do Coordinate food preparation for patient dining, retail operations, and catered events. Ensure food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines. Monitor food quality, presentation, portioning, and storage. Assist with kitchen operations, cleanliness, and sanitation standards. Support and guide kitchen staff in food preparation and production activities. Help deliver outstanding service to patients, visitors, and employees. Monitor kitchen equipment and communicate maintenance needs. Why UPMC?
