  • December Who We Are Cheyenne Ridge Signature Lodge is a pheasant hunting preserve located along the rolling Missouri River hills of Lake Oahe in Pierre, South Dakota.
The full-service, 33 room lodge is family owned and operated by the Weinreis family. Established in 1999, Cheyenne Ridge has stood out as a premier, luxury pheasant hunting destination for decades offering all inclusive packages. We pride ourselves on top quality guest experiences and services as well as preserve strategy and management in order to offer the most memorable and best experiences for our clients. Opportunity Cheyenne Ridge Signature Lodge is currently hiring an Executive Chef and Sous Chefs for our luxury hunting resort. Affectionately called "The Weinreis Steakhouse" after the owners of the Lodge, the culinary experience we offer our guests is as equally incredible and enjoyable as their time hunting. The Weinreis' have a strong heritage in beef production and we proudly take the stance of "Beef, the King of Meats." As an all-inclusive Lodge, we provide our guests three meals per day, arrival/departure meal, hors d'ouevres, and top-shelf bar service. The meals are on a rotation basis. Our standards are delectable, visually appealing meals, yet uncomplicated. Meals you would expect to get in South Dakota, but nowhere would they be as good as they are than at Cheyenne Ridge. Culinary & Kitchen Operations
  • Lead/Assist with meal prep for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
  • Prepare ingredients including chopping, portioning, and marinating
  • Assist with plating and presentation for guest meals
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, prep, and storage areas
  • Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Assist with inventory, stocking, and basic ordering
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff during meal service All positions work as a team environment across all lodge operations.
We are one team with one goal to ensure the best experiences for our guests. A select group of qualified teammates may earn the opportunity for a cross-over position at our Nebraska lodge.
