We're looking for a dependable, motivated Pastry Assistant to join our from-scratch pastry team at Cru Catering during our busy fall and holiday season. This is a great opportunity for students or anyone wanting to learn in a professional, fast-paced kitchen. You'll work directly with our Executive Pastry Chef at our North Charleston catering kitchen, assisting with day-to-day pastry production. Responsibilities include preparing breads, pastries and desserts, assisting with new menu development, monitoring inventory and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Position details:

Morning shift availability is required. Typical shifts are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 3-4 days per week. Hours may vary based on production volume. Occasional weekend evening event shifts during the busy season, typically 4:00-10:00 p.m., approximately once per month. Prior pastry or baking experience is preferred, but a willingness to learn is just as important. If you enjoy working with a team and take pride in what you create, we'd love to hear from you.
