Rotie by Stella's, located in the Bridgeway Station off of Highway 385, is seeking an experienced and talented Sous Chef to join our team! The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience with a passion for cooking. Someone who can work in effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Core Responsibilities

•Primary responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to the following: Work directly with the Executive Chef to lead and inspire the culinary team Prepare and cook food items according to our restaurant's recipes and standards Successfully manage day-to-day operations Assist Executive Chef in inventory, food cost, ordering, scheduling, menu planning etc. Train and educate staff on new menu items and changes Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance to health guidelines Keep a safe and clean kitchen area

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of Sous Chef experience Ability to multi-task Strong knowledge of food preparation, techniques and culinary trends Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing your team effectively ServSafe Certified preferred Experience in Scratch Cooking / Fine Dining / Upscale Dining Must have a reliable mode of transportation. Excellent verbal communication skills and active listening skills Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time Continuous repetitive motions Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 50lbs Occasional pushing and pulling of items up to 50lbs We are a local, chef owned & operated business focused on high quality culinary experiences.
