Overview Join our dynamic team as an Area De Verdura ( que ), where you will play a vital role in overseeing the fresh produce section within our culinary and food service operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the management of vegetable and fruit displays, ensuring high-quality standards, freshness, and presentation. You will coordinate with kitchen and service teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences, emphasizing food safety, menu adherence, and efficient food production. Responsibilities Supervise the selection, preparation, and presentation of fresh produce to meet quality standards and menu specifications Coordinate with culinary teams to plan menus that highlight seasonal vegetables and fruits while maintaining dietary guidelines Ensure proper food handling, sanitizing procedures, and food safety management practices are consistently followed Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation processes such as braising, poaching, grilling, and food production Maintain inventory levels of vegetables and fruits, monitor stock rotation, and place orders as needed to prevent shortages Implement high-volume production techniques while adhering strictly to recipe adherence and portion control standards Lead staff in maintaining cleanliness of the dietary department area, following all food safety sanitizing procedures Experience Proven experience in dietary aide roles or culinary positions involving menu planning and food preparation Extensive background in fine dining or restaurant environments with a focus on fresh produce handling Strong knife skills combined with experience in cooking techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and food safety sanitizing procedures Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely during high-volume food production settings Knowledge of food safety regulations, including proper food handling practices and sanitation standards Experience managing dietary departments or working within the food industry with a focus on catering or large-scale meal preparation Familiarity with recipe adherence, meal assembly, and maintaining quality standards across diverse culinary tasks Embark on a rewarding career where your culinary expertise directly impacts our guests' dining experiences!
