The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and a commitment to excellence in the kitchen. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The Sous Chef / Line Cook will work closely with the head chef to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes according to menu specifications. Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow during service. Manage inventory control, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the head chef on menu planning and recipe development. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Handle catering orders and banquet services as required. Participate in shift management, ensuring timely service during busy periods. Skills Proven experience in food production and culinary roles within fine dining or restaurant settings. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising staff. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Proficiency in inventory management and control processes. Experience with menu planning, catering, and restaurant management is preferred. Excellent cooking skills with a focus on quality and presentation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff. Familiarity with hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
