Part-Time or Full-Time About the Position We're looking for an experienced Sushi Chef to join a growing Japanese restaurant in Cedar Park, TX. The ideal candidate is dependable, skilled in both traditional and modern sushi techniques, and confident working independently with minimal supervision. We are new owners of the restaurant and are building a strong, long-term team and offering room for growth as we continue to expand and develop our operations. Responsibilities Prepare all types of sushi, including rolls, nigiri, and sashimi Knowledge of sushi rice preparations Manage daily prep, setup, and cleanup efficiently Monitor inventory and communicate ingredient needs Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Qualifications Strong knife and fish-handling skills Ability to work independently when needed Reliable, organized, and able to handle high-volume periods Open to working full-day shifts on select days of the week, depending on business needs Experience is required for this position Schedule Closed on Mondays Flexible scheduling based on business needs Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Staff meals and employee discounts Supportive, respectful, and team-oriented environment
