Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the assigned kitchen station. Ensure every dish prepared at the station meets the established quality standards. Train and develop the cooks assigned to the station. Oversee the mise en place to ensure the station is fully prepared for service. Motivate and encourage the team to consistently perform at their best. Demonstrate teamwork and a sense of urgency in daily tasks. Follow all food safety standards, including HACCP and ServSafe guidelines. Manage station inventory, ensuring proper product rotation and minimizing waste. Assist in the creation and execution of new recipes and presentations. Maintain a proactive, organized, and efficient approach to daily operations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a fine dining establishment. Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques specific to the assigned station. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, demanding kitchen environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team. Culinary Arts certification or equivalent professional training.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
