RS3 Strategic Hospitality powered by Proof of the Pudding is a chef-led hospitality company delivering food and beverage experiences at some of North America's most complex sports, entertainment, cultural, and live-event venues. Proof of the Pudding serves professional and collegiate sports venues, convention centers, cultural institutions, and large-scale destination events across the United States and Internationally. Job Description We are seeking a Sous Chef for our Event Center located in Allen, Texas to oversee the food operations for Credit Union of Texas Event Center. Responsibilities Support the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow, adherence to recipes, and high-quality food production. Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations across all kitchen areas. Assist with menu planning, ingredient sourcing, inventory management, and cost control initiatives. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service. Manage shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment while fostering a culture of teamwork, hospitality, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in high volume establishments with strong background in food production and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervising experience with teams of culinary professionals. Extensive banquet and catering experience with knowledge of event-specific food service needs. Solid understanding of food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory control, and cost management. Skilled in menu planning, food handling, and culinary techniques across diverse cuisines. Experience in managing dietary requirements and implementing dietary department standards. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills; capable of motivating teams and managing shifts effectively.
