The ideal candidate is passionate about Japanese cuisine, maintains high standards of food quality and presentation, and works efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, hand rolls, and other Japanese dishes with consistency and quality
• Select, prepare, and properly handle fresh fish, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the sushi bar and other fish preparation area.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and minimize food waste
• Train and support entry-level sushi chefs
• Maintain proper portion control and presentation standards
• Support opening and closing duties of the sushi bar
• Provide excellent customer service and professional interaction with guests when needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in Japanese cuisine preparation
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of fish preparation
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Schedule:

• Full-time :

  5 days / week Competitive pay based on experience. $4000
• 5000/month.
