We are seeking a pizza and sandwich maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the food industry and be fluent in English in order to be able to take orders. As a Pizza and Sandwich Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas to perfection while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Duties Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards. Cook pizzas in a timely manner, ensuring that they are baked to perfection. Make sandwiches according to established recipes and standards. Take orders from customers (over the phone and walk-ins). Must speak English. Use POS systems and take cash payments. Assist with meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food is served. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Requirements Previous kitchen experience, particularly in pizza and/or sandwich preparation or cooking. Must be punctual and reliable. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices. Great customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu planning is highly desirable.
