Job Description

This is a range 1, day shift position (Mon - Fri 6am - 2:30pm) and will close 8/27/2026. Pay starts at $18.50 per hour. US Synthetic has an immediate need for a Chef de Partie located in Orem, UT . The Chef de Partie will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals and maintaining a clean and safe work area. We are seeking a motivated and creative individual who has experience in the food service industry and is committed to impeccable food presentation , garnishing, and can work under and take direction from the Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef. What You Will Do:
Help in the timely preparation and production of all menu items Produce high-quality plates both design and taste wise Work to master assigned position in the kitchen i.e. grill, G arde manger, sauces, pastries etc. Ensure that orders are filled in a timely manner according to our goals and standards Exercise stewardship ove r assigned station of the kitchen to ensure it remains clean, stocked, organized and efficient Compl y with sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Understan d various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Familiar with industry best practices Ensure all services to members are conducted in a highly professional and efficient manner. Ensure a safe working environment and attitude on the part of all employees in areas of responsibility Follow all company policies (Attendance, No Tobacco Products on Campus, Illegal Drug & Alcohol, Family Medical Leave Act, Personal Appearance, Personal Electronic Devices, Vacation & Personal Time, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma / GED is required Current f ood handler's permit is required Immigration sponsorship not available for this role
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to talk or hear R equired to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch Often lifts and/or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision

Ability to solve practical problems and ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
