Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to oversee culinary and kitchen operations within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience leading food service operations in a healthcare, behavioral health, hospital, senior living, or similar setting and understand the importance of nutrition, food safety, quality, and consistency in patient care. Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily kitchen and culinary operations, including food preparation, service, sanitation, and inventory. Lead, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff. Plan and execute nutritious, high-quality meals while accommodating dietary restrictions and special dietary needs. Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, health department, and facility standards. Manage food purchasing, inventory, vendor relationships, and cost controls. Ensure proper food storage, preparation, labeling, and temperature monitoring. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Collaborate with facility leadership and clinical teams regarding patient dietary needs. Monitor food quality, portion consistency, presentation, and overall patient satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Culinary Manager required. Culinary leadership experience within a healthcare setting strongly preferred . Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, inventory management, and kitchen operations. Experience managing and developing kitchen staff. Ability to accommodate special diets, allergies, and dietary restrictions. ServSafe certification preferred or ability to obtain as required. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Pay:
$47,500.00 - $52,000.00 per yearBenefits:
