Frog Meadow, a men's bed and breakfast in Newfane, is looking to add a reliable breakfast chef or cook to our team. Frog Meadow has been part of the community for nearly 20 years and welcomes a largely queer clientele in a warm, respectful, affirming environment. Breakfast is served from 8-10 a.m. and follows a simple rotating menu—think blueberry pancakes and bacon one morning, waffles and sausage the next. We host a maximum of 14 guests, though breakfast is typically for 6-10 people. There are occasional dietary accommodations, such as gluten-free pancakes or vegetarian sausage. We also serve fresh fruit, yogurt and granola in the butler's pantry, which gets prepared each morning. Of course, you're welcome to expand on this, though we've always just kept things simple but high quality and delicious. The shift is basically from 7-10 a.m., possibly a bit longer if additional clean up is required... and often gets out early as guests tend to come closer to 8 a.m. We pay a total of $120 per shift. We are really flexible and would be willing to hire someone who can do anywhere from 1 to 4 mornings per week. We're looking for someone who is: A true morning person Exceptionally dependable—there isn't a backup if you can't make it in Comfortable cooking a delicious, consistent breakfast for a small group Friendly and at ease in a hospitality setting If this sounds like a good fit, please apply.
