Job Description

Hotel California by the Sea (HCBTS) is a dual-diagnosis drug and alcohol treatment center located in Bothell, WA with other facilities located in Newport Beach, CA . We are committed to treating our clients with the dignity, compassion, and respect they deserve while they're in treatment. Our goal is to best equip our clients with the knowledge, skills, support, and emotional and personal growth necessary for them to achieve long-term recovery. The Chef will be responsible for the preparation of 2 meals per day for up to 40 clients on a day to day basis, as well as the storage, disposal of food, maintaining kitchen and storage area sanitation and safety standards. The Chef is responsible for providing lunches/dinners in house Monday through Friday and weekend lunches/dinners must be pre-prepared. They will be responsible to ensure compliance with Company, State, Federal and TJC policies.
Essential Job Duties and Functions:
Create and implement a variety of healthy weekly meal plans for assigned clients Prepare meals within culinary guidelines to ensure proper preparation is met Store, label and dispose of food in accordance with state, federal and Joint Commission regulations Complete daily/weekly grocery purchases within allocated budget Maintain all records of purchases and inventory Check the quality and quantity of food in storage Maintain a professional but supportive relationship with clients Know/comply with house rules and guidelines
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of related experience (Chef or Cook) Familiarity with general principles of 12 step recovery (Preferred)
Required Licenses/Certifications:

$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
