The ideal candidate will have strong experience preparing sushi roll with precision, consistency, and speed, while maintaining exceptional presentation and quality. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to continue learning and developing their skills beyond their current level. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sushi using traditional techniques, ensuring freshness and quality at all times Handle all aspects of food preparation, including slicing fish, rolling sushi, and creating garnishes with precision and care Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety and product integrity Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus that balance creativity with operational efficiency, considering dietary restrictions and customer preferences Uphold cleanliness and organization in the sushi station to meet health regulations and promote a safe working environment Experience Proven experience as a Sushi Chef with minimum 5+ year experience at a highly recognized establishment. Strong background in food industry practices including food handling, food safety, and meal preparation Demonstrated expertise in knife skills, food presentation, and culinary techniques specific to sushi making Familiarity with dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus Previous kitchen experience in the food service or restaurant industry that highlights your ability to thrive under pressure
