Non-Exempt Full-Time & Part-Time Available ! Condesa is looking for friendly, outgoing and positive people to join our team! This position supports kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, baked goods, desserts and other food items while maintaining organization to ensure efficient food preparation and service. This hands-on, customer-facing position emphasizes speed, accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety protocols in a fast-paced setting. The role reports to the Executive Chef and involves no supervisory duties.
Requirements:
Basic culinary and knife skills. Strong organizational abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate and interact professionally and effectively with customers and all team members. Must be able to use a computer for timekeeping and cash handling purposes. Possesses excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks. Good communication skills. Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies. Complete knowledge of all company security regulations and federal/state/local regulations relating to food safety. Ability to obtain any applicable certifications/licensures as required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and extended shifts as needed.
Education & Experience:
Previous prep or kitchen experience preferred. Customer-service experience preferred. ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred. Experience in high end restaurant preferred.
