NEW RCAC

building and are looking for multiple dependable, experienced Cooks/Chefs to join our kitchen team. If you enjoy cooking, working as part of a team, and making meals that residents look forward to, we would love to meet you! Position Responsibilities As a Cook/Chef, you will: Prepare and serve meals according to our planned menus Prepare meals for a larger group while maintaining quality and consistency Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and meal schedules Prepare and accommodate special diets, including diabetic, mechanical-soft, and pureed diets Maintain proper food temperatures and follow food safety guidelines Follow proper sanitation, handwashing, food storage, and cross-contamination procedures Complete daily kitchen cleaning and scheduled deep-cleaning tasks Assist with dishes and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen Monitor food and kitchen supplies and communicate items that need to be ordered Work closely with caregivers and other team members to ensure residents' dietary needs are met Respond professionally to resident requests and concerns regarding meals Follow all facility policies and procedures What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and reliable Experienced in cooking or food service Able to manage time effectively and have meals ready on schedule Organized and able to maintain a clean kitchen Comfortable preparing meals for a larger group Able to work independently while also being a team player Resident-focused and willing to accommodate individual preferences and dietary needs Available for rotating weekends and holidays Assisted living, senior living, restaurant, healthcare dietary, or large-group cooking experience is preferred.
