Experienced Line Cook/Chef A'Bravo Bistro and Wine Bar Green Bay, WI Job Details Part-time $18 - $21 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Cooking Restaurant experience Full Job Description About Us We are looking for a professional Part-time (28-36 hours) line cook/chef to grow into a supervisory role. This position will prepare food to the exact menu specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting our a'Bravo kitchen team with their daily tasks as well as to prepare presented plated menu items. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer experience and leave them wanting to return. Our team is looking for a candidate willing to bring flexibility with primarily taking more evening shifts rotation of Sunday's for brunch and some day shifts as well. Responsibilities Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Answer, report and follow General Manager direction Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Skills Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, assistant kitchen manager/supervisor, restaurant cook or prep cook Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, plating, presentation and equipment proceedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks Familiar with industry's best practices
