Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment through effective team management and leadership. Oversee food production processes, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards, presentation expectations, and timely delivery. Plan and develop innovative menus that align with culinary trends, kitchen ability, and customer preferences while maintaining cost efficiency. Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions by overseeing food preparation, presentation, and service logistics. Enforce strict adherence to food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and dietary requirements across all kitchen operations. Monitor shift operations, manage staffing schedules, and ensure smooth workflow during busy periods to maximize efficiency. Skills 3-5 years experience in fine dining environments is encouraged, however the right candidate with strong interest in culinary arts is encouraged to apply. Proven supervisory experience leading kitchen teams in high-volume settings such as restaurants or catering services. Deep knowledge of dietary department practices, including special diets and allergy considerations. Strong skills in inventory management, cost control, and food service management to optimize resources. Expertise in menu planning, food presentation, and catering coordination to enhance guest satisfaction. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff, manage shifts effectively, and resolve conflicts professionally.
