- Part-Time Sakura Sushi & Grill
Menomonee Falls, WI Pay:
$24- 30/hour
DOE Schedule:
Wednesday-Sunday, 4:00 PM-8:30 PM Overview Sakura Sushi & Grill is looking for an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. We are seeking someone who can work confidently and independently at the sushi bar while maintaining quality, consistency, cleanliness, and food-safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare sushi rolls, specialty rolls, nigiri, and sashimi Prepare and cut fish safely and properly Prepare and maintain sushi rice Follow restaurant recipes, portions, and presentation standards Keep the sushi station stocked, clean, and organized Work efficiently during busy dinner service Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, and food-safety procedures Communicate and work well with kitchen and front-of-house staff Qualifications Previous sushi chef experience required Strong sushi knife and fish-preparation skills Experience making rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty rolls Able to work independently at the sushi station Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant Must be available Wednesday-Sunday, 4:00 PM-8:30 PM Japanese or sushi restaurant experience preferred Compensation $24- 30 per hour, depending on experience
Pay:
$24.00- $30.
