Responsibilities:
What You'll Do Lead the daily pastry operations, creating fresh desserts, breakfast breads, display pieces, and more across our ranch dining experiences. Oversee, train, and mentor pastry team members in techniques that emphasize quality and seasonality. Support the Executive Chef with menu development, recipe creation, and maintaining production timelines. Ensure compliance with local health codes, HACCP standards, and all White Lodging food safety SOPs. Monitor labor and food costs to align with operational budgets and profitability goals. Collaborate with FOH teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience from prep to plate. What You'll Bring Culinary degree or equivalent training, with expertise in pastry, baking, and dessert preparation. Previous experience leading pastry production in a resort, hotel, or high-volume environment. Strong understanding of food safety standards and operational controls. A creative, seasonal, and quality-first approach to recipe and menu development. Leadership experience and the ability to foster a positive, respectful kitchen culture. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a dynamic hospitality setting.
