Job Description

Weekend Manager - Pump It Up Trussville We run kids' birthday parties in a building full of giant inflatables. Saturdays are loud, fast, and fun. We are looking for people to run them.
You would oversee the floor:
a team of 4 to 8 party staff, several parties back to back, and a lobby full of parents. You make the calls. Who covers what, how to fix it, when to send someone home. What you would own Parties start on time and move from arena to party room on schedule, with rooms turned before the next family walks in. Staffing on shift. You notice when someone is late or a no-show, and you solve it with the people in the building. Safety. Inflatables are up and correct, the arena is supervised. When a kid gets hurt, you give first aid, talk to the parents, and write up the incident that day. Families. You greet them, handle complaints, and resolve issues on the spot. Payments. You run cards in person or over the phone and occasionally take cash for a party balance. Opening or closing the building, depending on the shift. Phones.
Most calls are simple:
hours, pricing, what is in a package. Party leads get logged the same day. A short written handoff note to the General Manager at the end of every weekend. You would be great at this if You have run a restaurant shift, led a church youth program, worked in childcare or a daycare, taught school, or run anything where things go sideways and you stay calm. Plenty of our best people are parents: if you have thrown a birthday party, wrangled a room full of kids, and handled the one who will not come out of the ball pit, you already know most of this job. Schedule and pay Every other weekend: about 10 hours Saturday and 6 hours Sunday, plus occasional Friday nights $15-16.50 per hour. Weekend managers are paid hourly and do not share in party tips. This is a weekend job. It works well alongside a weekday job or school. Requirements 21 or older Comfortable on your feet all day and able to lift up to 40 lbs Able to bend, kneel, and move quickly around inflatable equipment in a loud building Able to pass a background check Genuinely likes kids
