Job Description
Marriott International is seeking a Banquets Conference Concierge to deliver exceptional service for meetings and events. In this role, you will be the primary contact for conference organizers and banquet guests, coordinating details from room setup and audio-visual needs to food and beverage service. You'll collaborate closely with banquet, catering, and front office teams to ensure flawless execution and prompt resolution of guest requests. Responsibilities Serve as the primary on-site contact for banquet and conference guests, meeting planners, and group organizers throughout their events. Coordinate day-of event details in alignment with banquet event orders and group resumes, ensuring accurate room setups, timelines, and service standards. Continuously circulate meeting and banquet spaces to anticipate guest needs, monitor service delivery, and address issues promptly. Liaise with banquet operations, culinary, audio-visual, front office, and sales/events teams to communicate guest requests and event changes. Log, track, and follow up on special requests such as room configurations, signage placement, transportation, and food and beverage adjustments. Support basic audio-visual coordination by facilitating equipment needs with AV providers and helping ensure meeting rooms are presentation-ready. Assist with reviewing event-related charges, supporting billing clarity and accuracy for planners and internal teams. Participate in pre- and post-event reviews, including schedule review, space walk-throughs, and gathering feedback from meeting planners. Help maintain banquet and conference spaces to Marriott brand standards for cleanliness, presentation, signage, and guest safety.
