Job description The Club at Harbor Point in Mill Valley is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist for a part-time evening shift. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming and organized atmosphere for our tennis and swim club members. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates professionalism, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional member service while supporting daily club operations. Responsibilities Greet and check in members and guests promptly and courteously Answer phone calls and assist members with inquiries and reservations Manage tennis court and swim reservation scheduling efficiently Scan member IDs and monitor club access to ensure security Enforce club policies and safety procedures with professionalism Maintain cleanliness and organization of the club environment throughout the shift Restock retail and operational supplies as necessary Clean fitness equipment and common areas regularly Close the club at the end of the day, ensuring security and readiness for the next day Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall member experience Resolve conflicts and make decisions effectively to maintain a positive environment Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience in front desk reception or related role High school diploma or equivalent Current CPR and AED certification or willingness to obtain Outstanding customer service and phone etiquette skills Strong organizational, multitasking, and decision-making abilities Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills in English Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude and appearance Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a club or recreational facility environment Familiarity with membership and reservation management systems Residence in the Marin County area
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 25.0 per weekBenefits:
