+ Tips Job Overview SF Bay Area Plastic Surgery is seeking a licensed Aesthetician to join our Morgan Hill team. This is a full-time position for someone who is passionate about results-driven skincare, enjoys building long-term patient relationships, and wants to grow within a medical aesthetics and plastic surgery practice. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a med spa, plastic surgery, dermatology, or medical aesthetics setting , although we are willing to train an exceptional candidate with strong esthetics experience and the right clinical and professional foundation. This is a dual Aesthetician/Patient Concierge role . Providing aesthetic treatments and growing your patient base will be your primary focus. During unbooked time, you will support front-office and patient concierge responsibilities as part of the Morgan Hill team. An existing local clientele is a plus, but we are also open to candidates who have demonstrated the ability to build, retain, and grow a loyal book of business. Aesthetician Responsibilities Perform customized, results-driven aesthetic treatments based on individual patient needs and goals Perform DiamondGlow treatments, VI Peels, dermaplaning, custom facials, and other approved aesthetic services Participate in the Face Reality Acne Bootcamp program and provide ongoing acne-focused patient care Complete Face Reality certification through our practice if not already certified Conduct comprehensive skincare consultations and skin assessments Develop personalized treatment and home-care plans Educate patients on professional skincare products, treatment options, and appropriate aftercare Proactively rebook patients and recommend appropriate treatment frequency and maintenance plans Build and maintain strong, long-term patient relationships Develop and grow a consistent book of aesthetic patients Meet established expectations for treatment production, rebooking, patient retention, and retail sales Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation Follow all treatment protocols, sanitation standards, safety requirements, and scope-of-practice guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and treatment-ready aesthetic room Skincare & Retail Retail education and sales are an important part of this position. The Aesthetician should be comfortable recommending professional skincare based on each patient's individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Our practice currently carries professional skincare lines including: ZO Skin Health SkinCeuticals Face Reality Colorescience Revision Skincare Candidates should be comfortable discussing skincare regimens, recommending products, educating patients on proper use, and incorporating home care into comprehensive treatment plans. Patient Concierge Responsibilities When not scheduled with aesthetic patients, this position will assist with front-office and Patient Concierge responsibilities, including: Greeting, checking in, and checking out patients Answering phones and responding to patient inquiries Scheduling and confirming appointments Collecting payments and accurately handling patient financial information Assisting with patient registration and intake Supporting providers and clinical staff with efficient patient flow Maintaining a polished, organized, and welcoming patient environment Assisting with other front-office and administrative responsibilities as needed Candidates should be comfortable transitioning between providing treatments and supporting the front office based on the needs of the practice. Required Qualifications Current California Esthetician License Professional esthetics experience Strong knowledge of skincare, skin conditions, treatment planning, and home-care recommendations Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills Strong sales and customer-service skills Ability and willingness to actively build and retain a patient base Comfortable recommending treatments and retail products when clinically appropriate Professional, reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative medical team Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a medical spa, plastic surgery, dermatology, or medical aesthetics practice DiamondGlow experience VI Peel experience Face Reality certification and/or Acne Bootcamp experience Experience with medical-grade skincare and retail sales Experience with ZO Skin Health, SkinCeuticals, Face Reality, Colorescience, and/or Revision Skincare Existing local clientele or a demonstrated history of successfully building and retaining a book of business Experience with PatientNow, TouchMD, and/or Recura Previous experience supporting front-office or Patient Concierge functions in a medical practice Why Join SF Bay Area Plastic Surgery? Occasional travel to our Mountain View location may be required for training, meetings, or practice coverage.
