$24.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview Behring Co. is seeking a polished, reliable Overnight Concierge to support a luxury residential high-rise in Uptown Oakland. This role serves as the primary overnight point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors and requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to work independently. This is a solo overnight post and is ideal for candidates who prefer a consistent overnight schedule, a calm professional environment, and the autonomy to manage building operations responsibly during overnight hours. This is a permanent, ongoing position with a stable weekly schedule. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist residents, guests, and approved visitors in a professional and courteous manner Monitor building access and manage entry control during overnight hours Receive, log, and secure resident packages and deliveries Coordinate and document vendor check-ins and after-hours access Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby presence Monitor building activity and escalate issues as appropriate using sound judgment Communicate clear written and verbal pass-downs to daytime staff and management Accurately document incidents, requests, and overnight activity Take California-compliant meal and rest breaks Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Prior experience in concierge, front desk, hospitality, residential services, or security-adjacent roles in a hotel, residential, or mixed-use environment preferred Professional appearance and strong customer service demeanor Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional during overnight hours Comfortable working independently on overnight shifts Basic computer skills (email, logs, access systems) Reliable attendance is critical for overnight coverage Must pass background check and drug screening Must be authorized to work in the United States Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay ($22.00-$25.00 per hour, DOE) Health, dental, and vision insurance Free on-site parking Equal Employment Opportunity & Legal Notices Behring Co. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
