Sunday Concierge and Custodian Oxnard, CA 93030 $18 an hour - Part-time $18 an hour - Part-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated person to assist the pastor and church on Sunday mornings in preparing for worship, ensuring a welcoming environment. This will include light custodial work both inside and around the church grounds. The concierge will assist the pastor in being a liaison to the other churches that meet on the property, assisting them with their needs and shutting down the property. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive experience for the church community and visitors alike by providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a clean, safe, and inviting space every Sunday.

Requirements Must be bilingual- fluent in both English and Spanish Must have a working cell phone with camera Must have current California Drivers License Must have vehicle for transportation to and from work as well a occasional errand during work hours Duties Available to work every Sunday 9:30am to 3:30pm Set up the lobby and Sanctuary for worship as directed. Ensure that outside grounds are clean, neat and welcoming. Assist the pastor with last minute needs. Greet visitors and members as necessary Clean up after worship Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and other shared space Check all buildings and rooms to ensure they are ready for tenants, cleaning up as needed Identify any issues or problems and communicate with pastor/leadership Act as liaison to afternoon tenants and assist them with any needs; communicate issues to pastor for resolution Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience Proven experience that demonstrates strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
